Occasional/reasonable use through summer is also included, eg 1. a net when tacking up/travelling/standing in for an occasional short period; eg 2. Hay for a short period of box rest or similar short-term stabling; eg 3. Stabling during the day with hay in summer and overnight with hay in winter. Surcharges may be applied for horses using larger quantities of hay during summer; eg for ongoing box rest or elected stabling at night during summer as well winter. Assisted livery and consumables purchased will be billed in arrears by invoice at the end of the month. Feed requested to be purchased on the yard feed order will be priced variably according to the current supplier charge. DIY and assisted livery prices are reviewed annually in April and will increase to reflect annual inflation and changes to the cost of consumables and business overheads. Please request any assisted livery work by 4pm the day before if written on the board or by 7pm if by phone or message. We understand that last minute requests can’t be helped from time to time and are sympathetic to this but unreasonably frequent late requests for jobs may incur up to a 50% price increase for work done. Jobs requested to be done specifically out of usual working hours (7.30am-6pm) may incur a £5 surcharge at our discretion. Price rates for assistance requests in the holiday period are: Christmas Day and Boxing Day are charged at 4 times standard rate and New Year’s Day is charged at 2 times standard rate. Hours in which services are offered on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day are as usual; Boxing Day staff will have the afternoon off so no additional services are available to your livery package between 12noon and 6pm. Following the holiday afternoon, yard services are available for evening finishing of stables between 6 and 7.30pm.
