“Night hay/haylage” constitutes an ad lib quantity of hay being consumed between 3.30pm and
8am; “Day hay/haylage” constitutes an ad lib quantity of hay being consumed between 8am
and 3.30pm. Giving night hay in an excessive quantity, thus lasting for the following daytime still
incurs the ‘day hay’ charge.
You are welcome to purchase forage externally or purchase from us by the bale providing you
store either in your trailer, your existing storage space or off premises as unfortunately there is
not enough space for individual additional forage storage space for each client.
Forage purchased from ourselves may be fed ad lib providing excessive wastage does not
occur.
Feeding the previous night’s remaining forage as daytime forage will still incur a day time
forage charge.

Additional information
If you require assistance and care of your horse on a routine/regular basis (in excess of two
days per week full livery or weekly exercise twice a week) then a bespoke package price can
be discussed to reflect your requirement of services rather than predominantly the right over
your grazing and stable.
This is not an exhaustive list of services – should you have requirements that are not
mentioned in the above list we are happy to discuss your service requirement and negotiate an
appropriate price which will subsequently be included on our price list.
Assisted livery and consumables purchased will be billed in arrears by invoice at the end of the
month.
DIY and assisted livery prices are reviewed annually in April and will increase to reflect annual
inflation and changes to the cost of consumables and business overheads.
Please request any assisted livery work by 4pm the day before if written on the board or by
7pm if by phone or message. We understand that last minute requests can’t be helped from
time to time and are sympathetic to this but unreasonably frequent late requests for jobs may
incur up to a 50% price increase for work done.
Jobs requested to be done specifically out of usual working hours (7.30am-6pm) may incur a £4
surcharge at our discretion.
Cliff Farm Livery offers DIY Livery and Assisted livery options for horses and ponies. The livery yard is situated close
to the village of South Carlton, Lincolnshire.
